Rain or shine, The Goshen Stampede, Rodeo and Tri-State Amateur Truck Pull presented by Toyota, is back for a 3rd time. After the 2006 Mothers Day Weekend near wash out, The Stampede came back strong in 2007. With a growing fan base, The Goshen Stampede moves to Fathers Day weekend, June 13th, 14th, 15th and is packed with competitions, shows, exhibits, and food that are sure to be received well by the people here in Connecticut and the surrounding states.
Bigger than ever, The Goshen Stampede brings in a Mega Midway. That’s right, the biggest carnival the region has seen since The Danbury Fair, which closed more than 25 years ago. The carnival is based right here in Middletown, CT and has been owned and operated by the Coleman Family for 93years. Their Huge Rides and Giant Clean Midway are enjoyed by all of New England, including The Vermont State Fair.
The promoter of The Goshen Stampede, Sean O’Neill, says he too is feeling the slowing economy and high priced fuel in his own budget and knows first hand how costly quality family entertainment is, “so” O’Neill said “we dropped the cost of adult admission 20% to $12 and we brought the coliseum shows and the amusement park rides, to the families minus, the high prices and long drive.”
