Tri-State Truck Pull - Adrenaline Junkies only!

The Tri-State Amateur Truck Pull, June 13th -15th, is the biggest event of its kind in the region, debuting for the first time at last years Goshen Stampede. Amateur drivers will once again bring Trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps, light duty to super duty, gas or diesel, Toyotas, Chevys, and Dodges from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and even Maine.

All going for the Crown: the toughest vehicle in the Tri-State Pull and maybe even New England. Drivers hook on and attempt to pull the transit sled the farthest in their weight class, up to 250 lbs. If more than one vehicle makes a “Full Pull”, the weight transfer sled is stepped up a notch, thus sorting out the weak vehicles.

Jason Watley Excavating from Goshen, CT and his crew, which is made up of family and friends, run the Tri-State Amateur Truck Pull. “It’s no easy job,” says Jason Watley, “there are lots of things to go wrong and people to keep happy.” Watley smiles and says “some people like golf, some people like football, and, if you hadn’t noticed, there’s a lot of people that like trucks.”

Qualifications to become an amateur truck puller are simple. All you need is a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
